Our latest visit:
We decided to check out Funtopia midweek for a morning play and a chance to check out their new cafe. Funtopia is huge and a child’s dream come true. The toddler world (under 3) is a great section with more than just a simple play area. There’s plenty to climb, slide or move on. We were thrilled that it was staffed well, including staff members within the play areas! While this is not a babysitting service, it is a welcomed change, especially for the toddler area, where older kids may sneak in and be disruptive to the young ones. They also have some fast slides in the playground world, which are staffed to advise kids how to slide appropriately.
With two young ones, I thought the toddler world was fantastic and we spent a large portion of our visit in the ball area in the playground world, which both kids loved. We didn’t venture up because I was unable to carry my 15 month up with me. We will have to return with my hubby, so my little adventurer can explore their multilevel playground and my fitter than me, hubby can be the one to navigate it with him.
We eventually settled for a meal. I ordered the kid’s fish and chips and deep south chicken burger for myself. It has crispy chicken, American cheese and slaw on a brioche bun and served with chips. Staff were really friendly and helpful! The meals arrived quickly and looked very appetising. The burger was very delicious! Both kids enjoyed the fish and chips too. My son also eyed out someone else’s milkshake and he has been promised one on his next return! They look great.
We definitely recommend checking this place out!
