Saki Souvlaki appeared on my radar in 2015, shortly after their opening. Tucked away in the industrial part of Moorabbin Airport (directly across the road from DFO), they were up against some big competition with their burgers. Their burgers were a huge draw card for burger lovers, but what kept me returning was their delicious souvlaki too! We have visited a couple times over the years and they are genuinely friendly people, with delicious food.
Over the years, they have continued to make a name for themselves as one of the best souvlaki and burger venues in the Bayside area. Their friendly and welcoming attitude, extended to a vegan menu and is a favourite restaurant amongst vegans too. Saki Souvlaki are family owned and they love their food and love the people.
They are very accommodating to families, by offering a great kid’s menu, high chairs and plastic tableware too. They have indoor and outdoor dining, which is fully covered and heated. Prams are best suited to the outdoor dining area and the best time for young families would be before 6pm.
