There is no specific kid’s menu. However, they do have waffles on a stick!
A few light meals such as ham and cheese croissants, avo bagels, savoury crepes and filo pastries (spinach & cheese, beef burek and cheese burek).
They also offer a variety of sweet crepes, sweet waffles and fruit filled filo pastries. They also have a cabinet of other sweets.
Need to know:
This little gem opened in May and it’s a winner for us! They’re definitely worth heading down before they close at 6pm for a quick bite to eat, followed by dessert. They offer some savoury light meal options but their sweet offerings are also worth a trip. They have a great selection of toppings for their French crepes and their waffles are just on point!
I was absolutely surprised to find out that they have a little kids corner with a table, pencils and books! They’re only a small venue, but still have some great options for the kids. Ample space for a pram, but just one step at the door and a high chair available. What kid (or adult) doesn’t get excited about crepes?
Our latest visit:
I have a European background, so it’s all about crepes for me. Don’t worry, I love pancakes too. And waffles…. And cakes.. And coffee…….… The good thing is, they have all of these things! Yippee!! It was one of those days where I wanted to do something fun and exciting with the kids and this venue came to mind straight away! I promised my husband when I discovered it, I’d take him along. Whoops!
I wasn’t too sure what to expect when I got there, as most crepe venues I’ve been to, are mostly take away. This cafe isn’t large at all, but offers you the opportunity to dine in while you enjoy a coffee with your order. The little kids table was a definite surprise for us. A toddler sized table, which is perfect to keep the kids busy even if you pop past for a coffee. Their menu isn’t too large, but it has popular choices of fillings to choose from. There are also some traditional Burek choices! Yum!
We were promptly greeted on our arrival and offered a table and highchair. We started with a coffee and babycino order, which were promptly received. I was excited to see that there was a vegan crepe (with mushroom, capsicum and sweet potato) available and ordered this together a Ham and Cheese Crepe to share with my son. Both dishes arrived promptly, together with some dishes to share our crepes. It’s usually difficult to get my son to eat at times, but he was excited over a “pancake”!! He absolutely polished off his serving with no complaints! I might have to try this one at home!! The crepe was just perfect! It was very light and delicious!
I was very excited to try out some sweets and ordered a Hot Jam Crepe (with hot mixed berry jam, fresh fruit and freeze dried raspberries) for myself and mini Belgian Waffle for my son. I ordered him Willy Wonka (dipped in melted chocolate, topped with M&M and hundreds & thousands). The photos really speak for themselves with these two dishes. They were absolutely delicious.
Staff were very friendly and service was prompt! More importantly, they know their way around a crepe! We absolutely love supporting new businesses and recommend you try them out too! Both you and the kids will love it!
What they do well:
– The crepes were up to my standards. So light and fluffy.
– Great little kids corner
– Their waffle sticks are a great hit with the kids!
